How, What, When, Where and Why
If you are close by and would like to come in person, we can’t wait to meet you! Where: We are located at 56 Prince Edward Street. There is limited parking at the church so we try to reserve that for people who would have difficulty walking a block. If you feel you could park a little further away, there is free municipal parking one block north. When: Doors are generally open around 9:30, and most people start arriving after 10. You can enter through one of two doors: the main church doors by the rainbow steps or the church hall, off the parking lot. Greeters will be at both doors to welcome you, and try to get to know you a little better. If you would like to sign up for our newsletter at that point, or any church communication, greeters will give you a form to complete. How: Otherwise, it’s time to take your seat! Our building is fully accessible with power doors and accessible seating mid-way up the sanctuary. Hymns, prayers and anything you will need is projected onto the screen at the front. Children are invited to stay in the sanctuary during worship, although there is a nursery if parents prefer a little extra help. Ask the greeters where the children’s activity table is. You can sit there as well, or bring an activity bag to your seat. What: Our services are gently progressive, which means you will hear a meaningful message each week that will carry you through the days to come. We won’t tell you what to believe but will explore the important questions together, recognizing that we are a part of something much bigger than just ourselves. We worship a God of love, as revealed through Jesus Christ, enlivened by the Holy Spirit. Music is uplifting and moving, some traditional, and some freshly written. Our dress code is… well, non-existent! If you like to come to worship in your Sunday best, you are welcome here. If you are more comfortable in jeans and a sweatshirt, we are looking forward to meeting you. Just come. Why: This is the part where you have to tell us… why do you come to church? How can we help you experience divine presence in a way that gives your life new meaning? We are all on this journey together

Ukulele Church
9:00 am, once a month
When COVID 19 changed the world, we decided to nurture the faith of our young ones in a different way. For now, children worship in the sanctuary with the adults, but once a month, we come to church early and celebrate God’s presence through a collection of rainbow ukuleles!
No experience necessary. Kind of like messy church, this is a family friendly event where we hear Bible stories and sometimes do a craft, but always sing songs about Jesus and love, accompanying ourselves on the ukuleles. All ages are welcome!
Bible Study
Every Wednesday morning at 10 a group of us gather to discuss the Bible readings for the upcoming Sunday. We sit casually around a pot of coffee, asking hard questions, sharing life
stories and laughing… a lot! You can also join us on Zoom. Just ask Rev. Wanda for more information.
